United Nations Resident Coordinator Condolence Message

I am Zlatan Milisic, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Tanzania.

I am very saddened by the loss of His Excellency President John Joseph Pombe Magufuli, President of the United Republic of Tanzania.

On behalf of the United Nations family in Tanzania, I convey sincere condolences to the First Lady of Tanzania, Mrs. Janet Magufuli, the Vice President of Tanzania, Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, Government representatives and to the people of Tanzania.

I want to express my sympathy and let you know that my thoughts are with you. 

The United Nations family in Tanzania mourns with you. We will continue to work closely with the Government for the benefit of the people of the United Republic of Tanzania.
