Guided by the principles of leaving no one behind and promoting human rights, the UN aims for inclusive sustainable economic transformation and growth. This encompasses a focus on the blue economy, a greener development path, the elimination of multidimensional poverty, and enhanced resilience. Working closely with the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, grassroots communities, development partners, civil society, and other stakeholders, the UN is committed to supporting Zanzibar to achieve its development plans and accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
