UNCT Annual Results Report 2023/24

The United Nations System in Tanzania comprises 23 UN agencies, funds and programmes working closely with the Government and other stakeholders to advance national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Drawing on its comparative advantage, the UN promotes policy coherence, leverages partnerships, fosters learning, and supports the delivery of quality services to those most in need.

This report presents results of coordinated efforts by UN agencies, funds, and programmes under the four outcome areas of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2022–2027 during the third year of its implementation (July 2023-June 2024).

As we enter the fourth year of UNSDCF implementation, we are pleased to report strong progress across all four outcome areas. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Government, development partners, implementing partners, and the communities we serve for their steadfast collaboration and invaluable contributions to our shared goals.
