The Decade of Action calls for accelerating sustainable solutions to all the world’s biggest challenges ranging from poverty and gender to climate change, inequality and closing the finance gap. 2020 needs to usher in a decade of ambitious action to deliver the Goals by 2030.

The essay competition is carried out under the theme ‘The Future We Want’ which in line with an ongoing campaign to collect young people’s voices around the world regarding key issues they would like addressed as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We celebrate Africa, its people and their heritage. UN is inviting our social media followers, to show their pride on 25-26 May. The campaign is calling on users to showcase their pride through a selfie and/or any picture representing best love, heritage or relation to Africa & invite 2 friends.
