The launch of the campaign is timed to coincide with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the global initiative “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”, which takes place annually from 25 November to 10 December. Its aim is to raise awareness and combat all forms of violence.

In 2025, the United Nations marks its 80th anniversary. UN Day, observed annually on 24 October, commemorates the entry into force of the UN Charter in 1945 - establishing the UN as a global platform for peace, cooperation, and human rights. To celebrate this milestone, the UN in Mongolia, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will host UN Week from 20 - 24 October, featuring events that reflect on eight decades of global progress and inspire future commitment.
